Make this ultra-creamy whipped feta dip quickly for your next gathering. It combines tangy feta with Greek yogurt for a light texture, finished with bright lemon and a sweet honey drizzle.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 ounces block feta cheese, drained
  • 1/2 cup plain Greek yogurt
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil, plus extra for drizzling
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon lemon zest
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons honey, for drizzling

Instructions

  1. Place the drained feta cheese, Greek yogurt, 2 tablespoons of olive oil, lemon juice, lemon zest, minced garlic, and black pepper into a food processor.
  2. Process the mixture until it becomes completely smooth and airy, scraping down the sides as needed. This usually takes 2 to 3 minutes.
  3. Taste the dip and add a small pinch of salt only if your feta is not salty enough.
  4. Transfer the whipped feta dip to a shallow serving bowl.
  5. Drizzle the top generously with the remaining olive oil and then the honey.
  6. Serve immediately with pita bread, crackers, or fresh vegetables.

Notes

  • For a thicker dip, use less Greek yogurt or substitute half of the yogurt with cream cheese.
  • You can make this dip up to two days ahead; store it covered in the refrigerator and bring it to room temperature for 30 minutes before serving.
  • For a spicy kick, mix a few drops of hot sauce into the honey before drizzling.
