Ingredients
Scale
1 (13.8 ounce) package refrigerated biscuit dough
1 cup shredded Smoked Gouda cheese
4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
2 cloves garlic, minced
2 tablespoons fresh chives, finely chopped
1 teaspoon smoked paprika
Pinch of salt
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease a standard loaf pan.
Open the biscuit dough and separate the biscuits. Cut each biscuit into quarters.
In a medium bowl, toss the biscuit quarters with the shredded Smoked Gouda cheese until evenly coated.
Place the coated biscuit pieces into the prepared loaf pan, packing them in loosely.
In a small bowl, whisk together the melted butter, minced garlic, smoked paprika, and salt.
Drizzle the butter mixture evenly over the biscuit and cheese mixture in the pan.
Bake for 25 to 30 minutes, or until the bread is golden brown and cooked through.
Remove from the oven. Immediately sprinkle the top with fresh chives.
Let it cool for 5 minutes before serving warm.
Notes
You can substitute smoked Gouda with sharp cheddar if you prefer a tangier taste.
For extra richness, add 1 tablespoon of grated Parmesan cheese to the butter mixture.
This bread is best served right out of the oven when the cheese is fully melted and gooey.
