Ingredients

Scale
  • 1.5 lbs salmon fillets
  • 1 bunch fresh asparagus, trimmed
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • For the Honey Mustard Sauce:
  • 1/4 cup Dijon mustard
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
  • 1 clove garlic, minced

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper for easy cleanup.
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together the Dijon mustard, honey, apple cider vinegar, and minced garlic to create the sauce.
  3. Place the salmon fillets and trimmed asparagus on the prepared baking sheet.
  4. Drizzle the salmon and asparagus lightly with olive oil. Season both with salt and pepper.
  5. Spoon half of the honey mustard sauce evenly over the tops of the salmon fillets.
  6. Place the sheet pan in the preheated oven and bake for 12 to 15 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork. Cooking time depends on the thickness of your salmon.
  7. Remove from the oven. Drizzle the remaining honey mustard sauce over the salmon and asparagus before serving immediately.

Notes

  • You can substitute broccoli or green beans for the asparagus if you prefer.
  • For a little extra tang, add a squeeze of fresh lemon juice over the finished dish.
  • If your salmon is very thick, you may need to add a few extra minutes to the cooking time.
