  • 1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup packed light brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 cups (about 9 ounces) chocolate chips
  • 1 cup chopped pretzels

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line an 8×8 inch baking pan with parchment paper, leaving an overhang on the sides.
  2. In a medium bowl, combine the melted butter, graham cracker crumbs, and salt. Stir until well combined.
  3. Press the crumb mixture evenly into the bottom of the prepared baking pan.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together the granulated sugar, brown sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  5. Pour the caramel mixture evenly over the graham cracker crust.
  6. Sprinkle the chocolate chips and chopped pretzels over the caramel layer.
  7. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the caramel is bubbly and the pretzels are lightly toasted.
  8. Let the bars cool completely on a wire rack before lifting them out of the pan using the parchment paper overhang.
  9. Cut into squares and enjoy!
