  • 1 (12-count) package slider buns (like King’s Hawaiian rolls)
  • 1 cup marinara or pizza sauce
  • 1 pound thinly sliced pepperoni
  • 3 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
  2. Carefully slice the entire package of slider buns horizontally, keeping the bottom and top halves intact. Place the bottom halves of the buns in the prepared baking dish.
  3. Spread the pizza sauce evenly over the bottom layer of buns.
  4. Layer the pepperoni slices over the sauce.
  5. Sprinkle the mozzarella cheese evenly over the pepperoni layer.
  6. Place the top halves of the buns over the cheese layer.
  7. In a small bowl, whisk together the melted butter, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, and dried oregano to create the garlic butter glaze.
  8. Brush the garlic butter glaze generously over the top of the assembled sliders.
  9. Cover the baking dish tightly with aluminum foil. Bake for 15 minutes.
  10. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 5 to 10 minutes, or until the cheese is fully melted and the tops are lightly golden brown.
  11. Let the pizza sliders rest for 5 minutes before slicing between the rolls. Serve warm.
