Ingredients
Scale
1 lb ground turkey
1/4 cup breadcrumbs
1/4 cup finely chopped onion
1 egg
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1 tablespoon olive oil
4 burger buns
Optional toppings: lettuce, tomato, cheese, etc.
Instructions
In a medium bowl, gently mix ground turkey, breadcrumbs, chopped onion, egg, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Do not overmix.
Form the mixture into four equal-sized patties. Make a slight indentation in the center of each patty with your thumb to help them cook evenly.
Heat olive oil in a skillet or on a grill over medium-high heat.
Cook the turkey burgers for about 4-5 minutes per side, or until cooked through and no pink remains in the center.
Toast the burger buns if desired.
Assemble your burgers with your favorite toppings.
Notes
Using lean ground turkey is great for a healthier option.
Don’t overwork the meat mixture; this can make the burgers tough.
The indentation in the center helps prevent the burgers from puffing up too much while cooking.
You can add other seasonings like paprika or dried herbs to the mix for extra flavor.
