Holiday Peppermint Cocoa Bombs

Create festive Holiday Peppermint Cocoa Bombs for a delightful and fun hot chocolate experience, perfect for gifting or enjoying yourself.

Ingredients

  • 12 oz white chocolate chips
  • 1/4 teaspoon peppermint extract
  • 1/4 cup crushed candy canes
  • 1 cup hot cocoa mix
  • 1 1/2 cups warm milk

Instructions

  1. Melt white chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl in 30-second intervals, stirring in between, until smooth.
  2. Stir in peppermint extract and crushed candy canes into the melted white chocolate.
  3. Spoon the mixture into silicone sphere molds, coating the sides evenly.
  4. Chill the molds in the refrigerator for about 10 minutes, or until firm.
  5. Remove the chocolate spheres from the molds.
  6. Fill half of the spheres with hot cocoa mix.
  7. Warm the rim of the empty chocolate spheres slightly and place them on top of the filled spheres to seal.
  8. To serve, place one cocoa bomb in a mug, pour warm milk over it, and stir until melted and combined.

Notes

  • Ensure your silicone molds are clean and dry before starting.
  • You can use milk chocolate or dark chocolate instead of white chocolate.
  • Adjust the amount of peppermint extract to your preference.
  • These cocoa bombs can be stored in an airtight container at room temperature for up to two weeks.
