Ingredients
Scale
2 pounds boneless, skinless chicken thighs
1 cup Coca-Cola
1/4 cup soy sauce
2 tablespoons ketchup
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Optional: 1 tablespoon brown sugar for extra sweetness
Instructions
In a bowl, whisk together Coca-Cola, soy sauce, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper.
Place chicken thighs in a resealable bag or shallow dish. Pour half of the marinade over the chicken, ensuring it’s well coated. Reserve the remaining marinade for basting.
Marinate chicken in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes, or up to 4 hours.
Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
Remove chicken from marinade, discarding the used marinade.
Grill chicken for 5-7 minutes per side, or until cooked through and internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
During the last few minutes of grilling, brush the chicken with the reserved marinade.
Let the chicken rest for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
For a thicker glaze, simmer the reserved marinade in a small saucepan until reduced.
Ensure chicken is fully cooked by checking the internal temperature.
