Green Detox Smoothie

A refreshing and nourishing green smoothie packed with spinach and winter fruits, perfect for a healthy start or a post-holiday detox.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup fresh spinach
  • 1 cup frozen mixed berries (like blueberries, raspberries, and strawberries)
  • 1/2 frozen banana
  • 1/4 cup plain Greek yogurt
  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened almond milk (or other milk of choice)
  • Optional: 1 teaspoon honey or maple syrup for sweetness

Instructions

  1. Add spinach to your blender.
  2. Pour in almond milk. Blend until smooth.
  3. Add frozen mixed berries, frozen banana, Greek yogurt, and chia seeds.
  4. Blend until creamy and well combined.
  5. If desired, add honey or maple syrup and blend again.
  6. Pour into a glass and enjoy immediately.

Notes

  • For a thinner smoothie, add more almond milk.
  • For a thicker smoothie, use more frozen fruit or add a few ice cubes.
  • You can substitute kale for spinach if you prefer.
  • Feel free to add other fruits like mango or pineapple.
