Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 (14 ounce) can sweetened condensed milk

  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup chopped walnuts or pecans (optional)

Instructions

  2. In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the sweetened condensed milk and chocolate chips.
  3. Miculate on high power in 30-second intervals, stirring in between, until the chocolate is completely melted and smooth. This usually takes about 1 to 2 minutes.
  4. Stir in the vanilla extract until well combined.
  5. If using, stir in the chopped nuts.
  6. Pour the chocolate mixture into the prepared baking pan and spread evenly.
  7. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or until firm.
  8. Once firm, lift the fudge out of the pan using the parchment paper overhang.
  9. Cut into bite-sized squares.

Notes

  • For a richer flavor, use dark chocolate chips.
  • You can experiment with different extracts like peppermint or almond.
  • Store fudge in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week, or in the refrigerator for longer storage.
