Crockpot Ravioli Lasagna

This Crockpot Ravioli Lasagna recipe offers a simple and delicious way to enjoy the classic flavors of lasagna with minimal effort. It layers ravioli, Italian sausage, marinara sauce, and plenty of cheese for a comforting meal.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound Italian sausage
  • 1 (25 ounce) jar marinara sauce
  • 1 (25 ounce) package frozen ravioli
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh basil for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Brown the Italian sausage in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Drain any excess fat.
  2. Stir in the marinara sauce with the cooked sausage.
  3. Spread 1 cup of the sausage and marinara mixture on the bottom of a 6-quart slow cooker.
  4. Arrange half of the frozen ravioli in a single layer over the sauce.
  5. Sprinkle with 1 cup of mozzarella cheese and 1/4 cup of Parmesan cheese.
  6. Repeat the layers: remaining sausage and marinara mixture, remaining ravioli, remaining mozzarella, and remaining Parmesan cheese.
  7. Cover and cook on low for 3-4 hours, or until the ravioli is tender and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  8. Garnish with fresh basil before serving, if desired.

Notes

  • You can use any type of ravioli you prefer, such as cheese, meat, or spinach.
  • Adjust the amount of cheese to your liking.
  • For a vegetarian option, omit the sausage and add sautéed vegetables like mushrooms, bell peppers, or zucchini.
  • If your slow cooker tends to cook hot, check the lasagna at the 3-hour mark to prevent overcooking.
