Classic Grilled Cheese with Tomato Soup Dip

Ingredients

  • 2 slices of bread
  • 2 slices of cheese (cheddar, American, or your favorite)
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 cup tomato soup

Instructions

  1. Butter one side of each slice of bread.
  2. Place one slice of bread, butter-side down, in a skillet over medium heat.
  3. Layer the cheese slices on top of the bread.
  4. Place the second slice of bread on top, butter-side up.
  5. Grill for 3-4 minutes per side, until the bread is golden brown and the cheese is melted and gooey.
  6. While the sandwich is grilling, heat the tomato soup according to package directions.
  7. Cut the grilled cheese sandwich in half and serve immediately with the warm tomato soup for dipping.
