Cinnamon Roll Wreath with Cranberries

Create a festive and delicious Cinnamon Roll Wreath with Cranberries, perfect for holiday gatherings. This recipe brings together the comforting sweetness of cinnamon rolls with the tart burst of cranberries, all shaped into a beautiful wreath.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 can (12.5 ounces) refrigerated cinnamon roll dough
  • 1/2 cup fresh or frozen cranberries
  • 1 tablespoon granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon melted butter
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 1-2 tablespoons milk

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to the temperature specified on the cinnamon roll dough package.
  2. Grease a baking sheet or line it with parchment paper.
  3. Separate the cinnamon rolls and place them on the prepared baking sheet, arranging them in a circle to form a wreath shape. Gently press the edges together to connect them.
  4. In a small bowl, toss the cranberries with the granulated sugar and ground cinnamon.
  5. Scatter the sugared cranberries evenly over the cinnamon rolls.
  6. Brush the tops of the cinnamon rolls with melted butter.
  7. Bake according to the cinnamon roll package directions, or until golden brown and cooked through.
  8. While the wreath is baking, prepare the glaze. In a small bowl, whisk together the powdered sugar and milk until smooth. Add more milk if needed to reach your desired drizzling consistency.
  9. Once the wreath is out of the oven, let it cool slightly on the baking sheet.
  10. Drizzle the glaze over the warm cinnamon roll wreath.
  11. Serve warm and enjoy your festive creation!

Notes

  • If using frozen cranberries, do not thaw them before tossing with sugar and cinnamon.
  • You can add chopped nuts like pecans or walnuts to the cranberry mixture for extra texture.
  • For a richer glaze, use cream instead of milk.
