Texas Roadhouse Copycat Whipped Cinnamon Butter in 5 Minutes

A generous serving of light, fluffy, whipped cinnamon butter piled high in a small white bowl.

You can make this creamy, fluffy Texas Roadhouse copycat cinnamon butter at home in just five minutes. This easy butter spread is perfect for warm rolls, pancakes, or toast.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter, softened to room temperature
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar, sifted
  • 2 tablespoons honey (or maple syrup for a different flavor)
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Place the softened butter into the bowl of a stand mixer fitted with the paddle attachment, or use a large bowl with a hand mixer.
  2. Beat the butter on medium speed until it becomes light and fluffy, about 1 minute.
  3. Add the sifted powdered sugar, honey, ground cinnamon, and vanilla extract to the bowl.
  4. Mix on low speed until the ingredients are just combined, then increase the speed to medium-high.
  5. Whip the mixture for 2 to 3 minutes until the cinnamon butter is light, smooth, and fully incorporated. Scrape down the sides of the bowl as needed.
  6. Serve immediately, or transfer the whipped cinnamon butter to an airtight container and chill until ready to use.

Notes

  • For the best texture, make sure your butter is truly softened, not melted. This helps you achieve that signature fluffy texture.
  • If you prefer a richer flavor, substitute the powdered sugar with 1/4 cup of packed light brown sugar.
  • This sweet butter spread keeps well in the refrigerator for up to two weeks. Let it sit out for 15 minutes before serving for easier spreading.
