Burger Quesadillas

Make Burger Quesadillas. This easy recipe turns seasoned burger meat and cheese into crispy quesadilla wedges.

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 cup ketchup
  • 2 tablespoons mustard
  • 8 large flour tortillas
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese
  • Vegetable oil for cooking

Instructions

  1. Brown ground beef and onion in a large skillet over medium heat. Drain excess fat.
  2. Stir in garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, and black pepper. Cook for 1 minute.
  3. Mix in ketchup and mustard. Remove from heat.
  4. Lay a tortilla flat. Sprinkle 1/4 cup cheddar and 1/8 cup Monterey Jack cheese on one half.
  5. Spoon about 1/4 cup of the beef mixture over the cheese.
  6. Fold the other half of the tortilla over the filling.
  7. Heat a lightly oiled skillet or griddle over medium heat.
  8. Cook the quesadilla for 3-4 minutes per side, until golden brown and the cheese is melted.
  9. Remove from skillet, let cool slightly, then cut into wedges.
  10. Repeat with remaining ingredients.

Notes

  • Serve with your favorite burger toppings like pickles, lettuce, and tomato.
