A comforting and nourishing drink to warm you up, featuring bone broth, lemon, and warming spices. It’s a healthy twist on a classic hot toddy, perfect for chilly days.

Ingredients

  • 3 cups bone broth
  • 1 lemon, juiced
  • 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup (optional)
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 2 whole cloves
  • 1 star anise (optional)
  • Fresh ginger slices (optional)

Instructions

  1. Pour the bone broth into a saucepan.
  2. Add the lemon juice, honey or maple syrup (if using), cinnamon stick, cloves, star anise (if using), and ginger slices (if using).
  3. Heat gently over medium heat until warm. Do not boil.
  4. Simmer for 5-10 minutes to allow the flavors to infuse.
  5. Strain the broth into mugs, discarding the spices and ginger.
  6. Serve immediately.
