  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted

  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup milk

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine the black raspberries, 1/2 cup of granulated sugar, and cornstarch. Toss gently to coat the berries.
  3. Pour the berry mixture into a 9×13 inch baking dish.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together the melted butter, the remaining 1/2 cup of granulated sugar, flour, baking powder, and salt until just combined.
  5. Stir in the milk until a smooth batter forms.
  6. Pour the batter evenly over the black raspberries in the baking dish.
