Barbecued Pork Skewers

  • 1 pound pork tenderloin, cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 teaspoon grated fresh ginger
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
  • Wooden or metal skewers

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine soy sauce, honey, sesame oil, ginger, garlic, and red pepper flakes.
  2. Add the pork cubes to the marinade and toss to coat.
  3. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, or up to 4 hours.
  4. If using wooden skewers, soak them in water for at least 30 minutes to prevent burning.
  5. Thread the marinated pork onto the skewers.
  6. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
  7. Grill the skewers for 3-4 minutes per side, or until the pork is cooked through and slightly caramelized.
  8. Serve hot.
