Ingredients
Scale
1 (8 ounce) wheel of Brie cheese
1/2 cup cranberry preserves
1/4 cup chopped pecans or walnuts (optional)
Crackers, sliced baguette, or apple slices for serving
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
Place the wheel of Brie on a small, oven-safe baking dish or a parchment-lined baking sheet.
Score the top rind of the Brie lightly in a crosshatch pattern, if desired.
Spoon the cranberry preserves evenly over the top of the cheese.
Sprinkle the chopped nuts over the preserves, if using.
Bake for 10 to 15 minutes, or until the cheese is soft and melted when gently pressed.
Remove from the oven and let it cool for 5 minutes before serving immediately with your favorite crackers or bread.
Notes
You can substitute raspberry or fig jam for the cranberry preserves.
For extra crunch, toast the nuts lightly before sprinkling them on top.
If you are worried about lifting the hot cheese, bake it directly on a small piece of parchment paper placed on a serving plate.
