Ingredients
Scale
1 sheet puff pastry, thawed
1 (8 ounce) wheel brie cheese
1/4 cup raspberry jam
1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
Optional: crackers or baguette slices for serving
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
Unroll the puff pastry sheet on a lightly floured surface.
Place the wheel of brie cheese in the center of the puff pastry.
Spoon the raspberry jam over the top of the brie.
Carefully wrap the puff pastry around the brie, sealing the edges. You can trim any excess pastry if needed.
Place the wrapped brie seam-side down on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Brush the top of the puff pastry with the beaten egg for a golden finish.
Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the puff pastry is golden brown and puffed up.
Let it cool slightly before serving.
Serve warm with crackers or baguette slices.
Notes
Ensure your puff pastry is fully thawed but still cold for the best results.
You can use other fruit jams like apricot or fig if raspberry is not your favorite.
For a festive touch, you can score the top of the puff pastry with a knife before baking.
