Close-up of a perfectly cooked Air Fryer Salmon Fillets with Lemon, topped with a lemon slice and herbs.

Cook moist salmon fillets with crispy skin quickly using your air fryer and a simple lemon seasoning.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 salmon fillets (about 6 oz each)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon dried dill
  • 1 lemon, sliced
  • 1 teaspoon fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Pat the salmon fillets dry with paper towels. This helps achieve crispy skin.
  2. In a small bowl, mix the olive oil, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and dill.
  3. Brush the oil mixture evenly over the top and sides of the salmon fillets.
  4. Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for 3 minutes.
  5. Place the salmon fillets skin-side down in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Place two thin lemon slices on top of each fillet.
  6. Air fry for 10 to 12 minutes, depending on the thickness of the fillets, until the salmon flakes easily with a fork.
  7. Remove the fillets from the air fryer. Discard the cooked lemon slices.
  8. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

  • For thicker fillets (over 1.5 inches), you may need to increase the cooking time by 1-2 minutes.
  • If you prefer a stronger lemon flavor, squeeze fresh lemon juice over the cooked salmon before serving.
  • Do not overcrowd the air fryer basket; cook in batches if necessary to maintain air circulation.
